The role ensures accurate data capture and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will lead frontline staff, coordinate with clinical units, monitor performance, coach, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Patient Access or hospital registration.
• Working knowledge of insurance verification and financial clearance.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely and accurate registration, insurance capture, and documentation.
• Monitor staff productivity and quality performance; provide real-time feedback and coaching.
• Escalate operational issues, system concerns, or workflow barriers to the Manager as appropriate.
• Assist with staffing assignments and coverage to ensure adequate departmental support.
• Reinforce compliance with payer requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
• Maintain working knowledge of registration processes, insurance verification, and financial clearance workflows.
