Job summary

You will lead scheduling, coaching, onboarding, and performance management, with collaboration across units to resolve access issues and ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in Patient Access, registration, or front-end revenue cycle operations within a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of insurance verification and financial clearance processes.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and function effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely and accurate registration, insurance capture, and documentation.
• Monitor staff productivity and quality performance; provide real-time feedback and coaching.
• Escalate issues to the Manager; assist with staffing assignments and coverage.
• Ensure adherence to payer requirements, regulatory standards, and HIPAA privacy and security standards.
• Supervise frontline Patient Access representatives, including scheduling and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with clinical units and internal departments to resolve access-related issues.
