Responsibilities

Greet patients, families and other customers in a courteous, welcoming manner and direct to testing or surgical areas.
Register patients by obtaining and verifying required information in the registration system.
Explain procedures, expectations and hospital environment to patients and families with excellent communication.
Maintain confidentiality of medical information and keep work areas orderly and stocked.
Access department communications daily and implement approved changes to information collection procedures.
Act as a preceptor for new hires, providing required education for the position.
Perform other duties as assigned by PAS leadership.
