Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, verify information, and guide them to testing and surgical areas in a courteous, welcoming manner. Responsibilities include accurate registration, handling confidential medical information, and supporting the PAS leadership as a preceptor for new hires.

Shifts are Mon-Fri 7:00 am–3:30 pm with one Saturday every four weeks; vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years formal education or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years' work experience in customer service, healthcare or business-related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, family members and other customers in a courteous and welcoming manner.
• Register patients by obtaining/verifying all required information for the registration system.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical information and keep offices/work area orderly and stocked.
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and assist PAS leadership; perform other duties as assigned.
