Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet and direct patients, verify information, and support efficient registration in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist patients, families and visitors, coordinate transportation as needed, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting with email/phone communications for information changes.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years' work experience in customer service, healthcare or business-related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, families to testing and surgical areas in a courteous and welcoming manner.
• Register patients by obtaining/verifying required information into the registration system.
• Explain procedures, expectations, and hospital environment in a friendly, clear manner.
• Handle confidential medical information with discretion and maintain orderly work areas.
• Communicate changes to information collection procedures via telephone or e-mail.
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and provide required education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the PAS leadership team.
