Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to ensure smooth, welcoming registration and scheduling across the system. You will process payments, verify insurance, obtain signatures, and guide patients through the care journey in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 1–3 years with strong typing and medical terminology knowledge; bilingual skills and EHR familiarity are valued. Flu vaccination is required for all staff, reflecting our commitment to patient safety.

Competenze

• Education: high school degree or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years in related work; computer systems experience including MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with independent decision-making.
• Strong typing skills (40+ wpm) and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual written and verbal communication skills; familiarity with EHR software.

Mansioni

• Registers patients for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes payments and safeguards cash; assist with kiosk check-in.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer questionnaires and insurance verification.
• Obtains signatures on forms; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
• Maintains a neat registration desk and secure patient information.
• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels appointments using multiple sources.
• Verifies insurance coverage with real-time eligibility checks.
