Qualifications

• Education requirements: high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years related work experience; experience with computer systems including MS Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with some independent decision making.
• Bilingual written and verbal communication skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and explain the registration process; respond to questions.
• Process patient payments and reconcile cash; assist with kiosk check-in as needed.
• Complete Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjust coverage as needed.
• Obtain signatures on forms; scan and record documents.
• Counsel patients on non-covered services and ABNs; verify eligibility in real-time.
• Maintain a neat registration desk and protect patient confidentiality.
