Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years in a related role and ability to use computer systems.
• Skills: Fast, accurate data entry and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes patient co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due; safeguards cash and receipts.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjusts coverage as needed.
• Obtains signatures on consent and financial forms; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs; ensures confidentiality.
• Monitors waiting areas and maintains a smooth registration flow; addresses delays.
