The role covers registration, scheduling, financial counseling, and eligibility verification with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and first-call resolution. Training includes EHR systems in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access).
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with some independent decision making.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients presenting for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes patient payments and safeguards cash and receipts.
• Completes Medicare Questionnaire and adjusts coverage.
• Obtains signatures on consent and financial documents; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
