Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years related work experience. Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with independent decision-making and accurate data processing.

Responsabilités

• Registers patients presenting for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes patient co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due; assists with Kiosk check-in.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjusts coverage.
• Instructs patients and obtains signatures on consent and financial forms; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients regarding non-covered services and ABNs; maintains confidentiality and security.
• Ensures smooth registration flow and patient safety; communicates delays to patients as needed.
• Identifies and verifies patient insurance using real-time eligibility checks; assigns guarantor and insurance to visits.
