Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a customer service role or health care industry.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in EMR with accurate demographic and financial data.
• Greet customers promptly and professionally.
• Collect and document required demographic and financial information.
• Direct patients and explain delays with diplomacy.
• Establish professionalism in line with department policy.
• Estimate and collect copays, deductibles and other patient obligations.
• Follow Compliance Plans and Meaningful Use requirements.
