Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate, upon hire.
• High School GED, upon hire.
• 1 year relevant healthcare experience, with knowledge of patient registration, health insurance payers, and real-time eligibility verification.

Responsibilities

• Register patients across access points with accurate demographics and insurance verification.
• Scan, index, and manage documents to support registration, billing, and clinical workflows.
• Explain patient financial responsibility and collect payments when appropriate.
• Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments to support timely access to care.
• Identify and escalate routine discrepancies in registration, insurance, and encounters.
• Provide patient-facing support via telephone and approved channels.
