Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required at hire.
• 1 year healthcare or patient access experience preferred, with knowledge of patient registration procedures, insurance payers, and real-time eligibility verifications.

Responsibilities

• Register and admit patients across assigned access points with accurate demographic info and insurance verification.
• Scan, index, and manage patient documents in the EHR to support registration, billing, and clinical workflows.
• Explain financial responsibilities to patients and collect payments when appropriate.
• Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient appointments to support timely access to care.
• Identify and resolve routine discrepancies and escalate complex issues per workflows.
• Provide patient-facing support via phone and other channels and document interactions per procedures.
