Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required at hire.
• 1 year of healthcare experience in patient access preferred.
• Knowledge of patient registration, health insurance payers, and real-time eligibility verifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration across assigned access points, ensuring accurate demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Scan, index, and manage patient documentation to support registration and billing workflows.
• Communicate financial responsibility using education tools and collect payments when appropriate.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments to support timely access to care.
• Identify and resolve routine discrepancies and escalate complex issues.
• Provide patient-facing support via telephone and other approved channels.
