Job summary

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge in administrative processes and customer service.
• Computer knowledge necessary.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred (Word & Excel).
• Complete Patient Access training curriculum and pass all competency assessments.
• Typing minimum of 35 words per minute required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate accuracy of scheduling patients using the scheduling system.
• Enter information into billing/registration system.
• Collect demographic and insurance information; update systems as needed.
• Reschedule appointments and handle cancellations.
• Greet patients and parents politely and register them in the system.
• Obtain consents and insurance information; ensure records are complete.
