Peninsula Community Health Services of Alaska seeks a Patient Access Coordinator to support all PCHS locations, including Soldotna and Kenai. This role provides a personal phone contact, confirms appointments, and assists with clerical tasks to facilitate access to care.

The position emphasizes educating patients on policies/programs, gathering necessary forms, and ensuring a smooth check-in process when patients arrive to see the provider.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• One year front desk administrative experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and pre-hire drug test.
• Strong telephone and appointment scheduling skills.

Responsabilités

• Answer and schedule patient appointments and confirmations.
• Explain office policies to patients.
• Navigate electronic health records and perform front desk tasks.
• Facilitate referrals and verify payer coverage.
• Assist with clerical tasks and data entry.
