Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• One year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Knowledge of front-end revenue cycle and registration requirements.
• Data entry accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, and staff via phone, electronic communication, or in person.
• Register and pre-register patients with accurate demographics, insurance, and eligibility in the EHR.
• Perform patient check-in and support self-check-in processes, including collecting co-pays and forms.
• Monitor appointment confirmations and follow up on unconfirmed appointments.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments across service lines per protocols.
• Communicate clearly and escalate complex issues as needed.
