Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital, clinic, or related customer service setting is required.
• Preferred certifications include CHAM, CHAA, or Medical Assistant.

• Greet patients and guests courteously in person or by phone.
• Initiate scheduling, registration, or hospital admission processes.
• Verify and collect demographic and insurance information for accuracy.
• Explain insurance benefits and collect co-pays and self-pay amounts.
• Perform financial analysis and inform patients of financial responsibilities.
• Balance cash drawer and complete daily cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to support patient and payer needs.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
