St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Patient Access Representative for Per Diem registration across outpatient and Emergency Department locations.

Formación

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• General computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly required.
• Insurance background preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous medical administrative experience and/or health care related education courses preferred.
• Knowledge of health information system (Epic) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and validate patients in hospital information system to maintain EMR integrity.
• Identify and report possible identity theft situations to clinical leadership for escalation.
• Maintain knowledge of network policy on patient identification and related procedures.
• Register patients including demographics, emergency contact, diagnosis, insurance, and eligibility verification; manage real-time cash collections.
• Handle patient queues and ensure accurate charting and billing readiness.
• Coordinate with providers and departments to ensure smooth patient flow and documentation.
• Cross-train across locations and shifts as needed.
• Greet patients and visitors, provide courteous service, and answer facility questions.
