Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk receptionist in California to ensure a seamless patient experience. You will greet patients, verify demographics, collect payments, and schedule follow-up appointments, while coordinating with the clinic and RCM teams.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and computer skills. A valid driver’s license is required; prior medical front office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Talent Sorter assessment may be used in selection.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience required.
• Receptionist experience or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Valid driver's license and driving record in standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk or reception area.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles and co-insurance.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments including cast/measure, delivery, and care plans.
• Act as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Support Revenue Cycle Management with necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
