Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs collection functions and financial assistance for payment methods.
• Interviews patients and/or family members.
• Collect and/or negotiate point of service payments or link to financial assistance programs.
• Articulate information clearly to patients, guarantors, staff and vendors.
• Explain patient financial responsibility based on deductible, coinsurance and co-pay designs.
• Counsel patients regarding third-party coverage and billing procedures.
• High school diploma or GED is required at hire.
• One year of experience is required at hire.
