Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• More than one year of customer service, medical office, or call center experience preferred.
• Healthcare front desk functions (registration, scheduling, and insurance verification) a plus
• NAHAM/CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls to schedule patient appointments and follow up as needed.
• Schedule appointments according to division guidelines and communicate updates or issues in a timely manner.
• Prioritize urgent diagnoses and appointments with escalation when necessary.
• Educate callers on appointment preparation, directions, and clinic location for productive visits.
• Provide cross-coverage across specialties to ensure continuity of service and minimize disruptions to care.
• Assist with scheduling needs across specialties to ensure continuity of service and seamless patient access.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency and deliver high-quality service to patients and colleagues.
