Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
3–5 years in Health Care, Call Center or Customer Service.
Experience with scheduling, registration and insurance verification processes.

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to schedule patient/provider appointments and follow up.
Answer incoming calls to schedule appointments and address needs.
Process requests via email, EPIC in basket, or Nemours app.
Provide excellent customer service and clear communication.
Ensure insurance verification, registration and billing data are accurately documented in the EMR.
Schedule appointments per division guidelines and communicate updates timely.
Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations using available tools.
Inform patients about financial responsibilities at the time of service or scheduling.
Refer to Financial Advocates for assistance when needed.
Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct in all interactions.
