Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in Health Care, Call Center, or Customer Service.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience with scheduling and insurance verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to schedule patient/provider appointments and follow up as needed.
• Answer incoming calls to schedule appointments and handle inquiries.
• Process patient/provider consult requests via email, EMR in baskets, or Nemours app.
• Document and communicate scheduling updates, barriers, and details to internal teams.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations using available tools.
• Ensure accurate demographics and insurance information is entered for encounters.
• Inform callers of financial responsibilities and collect payments when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Nemours policies and procedures.
