Job summary

Riverside Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Associate for the Kankakee campus to register patients, verify insurance, and explain payment options. You will support the hospital revenue cycle with accurate data entry and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual a plus.
• Experience with insurance verification, data entry, and clerical tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and clinical data accurately.
• Explain payment options and assist with insurance eligibility verification.
• Provide courteous customer service and direct/escort patients as needed.
• Handle switchboard calls and update patient information promptly.
