Qualifications

• Experience with EKG tracings and medical terminology preferred.

• Knowledge of payer regulatory compliance and HIPAA Privacy and Security preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Ability to perform general arithmetic.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and manage demographic, insurance, and clinical data accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with patients and representatives.
• Assist with training and coverage to maintain staffing.
• Follow EMTALA, HIPAA, payer requirements and Riverside policies.
• Greet patients, guide them within the hospital, and manage calls.
• Handle switchboard, document scanning, and data updates.
