Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Computer literacy required.
• Prior experience in office or clerical roles preferred.
• Knowledge of payer regulatory compliance and HIPAA Privacy/Security preferred.
• Ability to perform general arithmetic.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and clinical data accurately.
• Provide courteous, AIDET-compliant customer service and guide patients within the hospital.
• Handle administrative duties including training coverage, filing, and switchboard operations.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, payer requirements, and other registration standards.
• Participate in transporting patients within the hospital and updating records timely.
