The ideal candidate has receptionist or medical front office experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with Windows-based software and e-mail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience.
• Receptionist or medical front office experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to type 30 words per minute with accuracy.
• Comfort working with handicapped individuals.
• Proficient with Windows-based software and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at front desk.
• Verify demographics and insurance during check-in.
• Collect patient payments (deductibles, copays, coinsurance).
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for patient experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain patient info.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records.
