Job summary

Hanger, a leading O&P provider, is seeking a front desk receptionist in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will greet patients, collect payments, and manage check-in/check-out processes to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and prior medical front office exposure. The role includes patient scheduling and collaboration with clinic teams, with pay ranges stated for Hawaii.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in a receptionist or front office role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide wait time information and answer inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details at check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments (deductibles, copays, co-insurance) at the front desk.
• Schedule follow-up appointments including casts, measurements, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information and maintain records.
