Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a front desk/receptionist to ensure a smooth patient experience in our O&P clinics. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, handle payments, and schedule follow-ups, while coordinating with clinic teams to support patient care.

The role emphasizes strong communication, computer skills, and a welcoming presence to maintain high patient satisfaction and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of customer service or administrative experience.
• Receptionist role or medical front office experience preferred.
• Must have or be eligible for a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk and provide information on wait times.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect payments including deductibles and copays at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and prosthetic care-related visits.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management team to obtain patient info.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records.
