Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. is seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative to join the Patient Access team. You will support registration, scheduling, and pre-registration processes to ensure a smooth, respectful patient experience.

This role requires handling co-pays, insurance verification, and inquiries across multiple channels in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Able to work day shifts from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in call center or phone-based customer service is preferred.
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute is desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
• Bilingual in written and verbal communication is beneficial.
• Experience with EHR software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for visits and explain the process.
• Process co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due.
• Assist patients with Kiosk check-in when needed.
• Verify eligibility and insurance coverage using real‑time data.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as required.
