• Registers patients and explains the registration process.
• Processes co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due; safeguards cash and reconciles drawer.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and updates coverage.
• Obtains signatures on forms and scans documents for registration.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
• Maintains neat, confidential registration desk and waiting area.
