Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced multi-task environment; must handle electronic data accurately.
• 1–3 years related work experience; proficiency with web-based applications and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Registers patients and explains the registration process.
• Processes copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and balances due; safeguards payments.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and updates coverage accordingly.
• Obtains signatures on required forms; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs; handles signs and waivers.
• Monitors waiting area to ensure smooth registration flow and a positive patient experience.
• Maintains confidentiality and secures patient information; follows remote-work guidelines.
• Initiates scheduling by prioritizing calls, messages, orders, and other sources.
• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels appointments using various information sources.
• Ensures accurate patient data: demographics, referrals, and insurance.
