Responsibilities

• Registers patients for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes co-pays, balances due, and reconciles cash drawers daily.
• Completes Medicare/insurance questionnaires and verifies coverage.
• Obtains signatures on forms and secures confidential information.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs as needed.
• Manages scheduling in multiple sources and maintains patient flow.
• Ensures data accuracy, confidentiality, and security in a remote or on-site setting.
