Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with computer systems and web-based applications; MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients presenting for visits and explains the process.
• Handles co-payments, insurance info, and balance due with cash handling.
• Obtains signatures on consent and financial forms; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
• Maintains a neat, secure registration desk and safeguards patient information.
• Schedules and reschedules patient appointments and coordinates with departments.
