Responsibilities

• Obtain demographic and financial data from patients via interviews for registration and billing.
• Register patients at multiple locations and coordinate with departments to improve revenue cycle and patient experience.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect patient dues according to policies; establish patient liability and payment plans as needed.
• Escalate service issues to management when necessary.
• Assist patients to nursing units with directions or mobility aid when applicable.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and governmental payor requirements.
