Qualifications

• 2 years of healthcare or customer service experience or education equivalency required.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, pleasant, and respectful telephone etiquette.
• High empathy and ability to communicate well with patients and families during trauma.

Responsibilities

• Register patients by collecting demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect patient financial responsibilities.
• Cross-train across areas and mentor peers.
• Assist patients to nursing units and provide directions or mobility assistance.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and compliance requirements.
