Responsibilities

• Registers patients and explains the registration process.
• Processes co-payments, co-insurance, and balances due; safeguards payments.
• Completes Medicare Questionnaire and updates patient coverage.
• Obtains signatures on forms and scans documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
• Maintains a clean, efficient registration area and protects confidentiality.
• Schedules appointments and manages referrals using multiple sources.
• Ensures accurate patient demographics and insurance information.
