Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal & written).
• Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in person or by phone with empathy and professionalism.
• Obtain and verify demographics, third party payer information, financial/medical data, and IDs.
• Register or pre-register patients and collect payments when required.
• Obtain necessary authorizations and document activities in the hospital system.
• Direct patients to appropriate departments and ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements.
