Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years customer service experience required or preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to enter and interpret data.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in person or by phone and collect demographic, payer, financial, medical, and identification information to schedule or register services.
• Obtain patient authorization and referrals as needed.
• Document all activity in the patient management system.
• Notify patients of deductibles, co-pays, and balances; collect payments as required.
• Verify third-party payer information and obtain needed authorizations.
• Schedule physician or hospital services and confirm appointments two days prior.
