Mercy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, delivering high standards of service in alignment with Mercy's mission and values.

The role involves scheduling, registration, benefits verification, pre-certification, and financial clearance, with emphasis on data accuracy and insurance guidelines. It is a PT, 32-hour/week position with rotating shifts and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in clerical or front desk roles preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Schedule, register patients and verify benefits.
• Obtain accurate patient data and update records.
• Provide financial clearance and pre-visit collection when needed.
• Maintain professionalism and responsiveness under stress.
