Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to manage the patient intake process in our clinic. You will greet patients in person and by phone, facilitate check-in/out, collect data and payments, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and process referrals and authorizations.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service experience and familiarity with medical terminology and insurance concepts.

Competenze

• One year of customer service work experience.
• Two years of customer service work experience (preferred).
• Healthcare or Call Center experience (preferred).

Mansioni

• Registers and/or checks patients in/out.
• Conducts routine insurance eligibility verifications.
• Copies/scans patient materials into EMR.
• Records non-clinical charges and processes payments.
