Qualifications

• One year of customer service work experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers and/or checks patients in/out.
• Performs patient check-in; records and verifies demographics and insurance information; ensures guardians notified for minors; resolves issues or escalates.
• Conducts routine insurance eligibility verifications.
• Copies/scans patient materials into the EMR.
• Records non-clinical charges from various sources.
• Handles and reconciles payments.
