Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year related hospital, clinic, medical office, revenue cycle, front line registration, financial counseling, banking, hotel/retail or customer service experience required.
• Must have computer skills for data entry and retrieval of patient information; proficient with Windows-style applications.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all patients for procedures based on modality, department, length of test and day of week.
• Pre-register all scheduled procedures and verify patient information for accurate billing.
• Enter technical terminology for each test and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Greet patients and verify essential documents (physician order, insurance card, photo ID).
• Respond to questions and adapt communication to patient population while upholding privacy.
