Job summary

PT Solutions is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator in Alpharetta, GA. You will be the first contact for patients, handling check-in/out, payments, and documentation while supporting clinic operations and care teams.

You will ensure a smooth, compliant patient experience, manage scheduling, and collaborate with therapists to resolve access issues. A High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of front-office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in customer service or healthcare front office preferred.
• Experience with EMR and scheduling platforms preferred.
• Must meet compliance, background check, and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, verify information, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Handle payments, explain financial responsibilities, and maintain accurate daily financial records.
• Support clinic operations by managing phones, schedules, referrals, and EMR documentation.
• Deliver a positive patient experience by assisting with questions and addressing concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, insurance processes, and accurate documentation standards.
• Collaborate with therapists and internal teams to coordinate care and resolve access or scheduling issues.
• Assist with clinic operations, special projects, and provide coverage support as needed.
