Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0–2 years' experience in a customer service position.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in patients and guests, confirms identity, and provides information about visits.
• Completes check-in/out functions and updates patient demographic/insurance data.
• Collects co-payments and processes payments; posts payments and reconciles cash drawer.
• Assists with patient registration and obtains necessary consents/authorizations.
• Schedules appointments and communicates delays or changes in status to patients.
• Floats to other clinics as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
