• Answers, screens and processes a high volume of calls in a professional manner.
• Uses phone scripts and triage guidelines to determine appointment type, provider and urgency.
• Utilizes scheduling system to schedule appointments and verifies/upgrades patient demographics.
• Obtains necessary referrals and documents payer information in the system.
• Informs patients of required preparations for visits and coordinates with providers.
• Responds to provider emails and triages urgent information to appropriate staff.
