Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a Reception Desk Rep for a full-time, 30-hour evening shift (12:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Mon–Fri). The role involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and updating patient demographics and insurance information with precision.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in a customer service role, strong communication skills, and basic medical terminology familiarity. A HS diploma is required, with an Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer and screen incoming calls professionally and schedule appointments.
• Update patient demographics and insurance data at check-in/scheduling.
• Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate provider.
• Follow scripts and guidelines for scheduling and triage decisions.
