Job summary

Summit Orthopedics is seeking a Clinic Patient Registration Specialist to provide initial access for patients, greet and register them, verify information, and schedule follow-up appointments across our Vadnais Heights, Forest Lake, and Blaine campuses.

The role requires at least a year of healthcare customer service and basic computer speed, with a strong focus on delivering courteous and accurate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year customer service experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
• Must possess basic computer proficiency and speed.
• Medical reception or scheduling experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and apply payments.
• Prepare patient charts and route received documents (mail, faxes); coordinate with teams.
• Communicate with providers to ensure a seamless patient experience and coordinate patient pick-up of records or imaging.
• Assist with rescheduling when schedules change and maintain a neat, accessible lobby.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, teams, providers and staff.
