Summit Orthopedics is hiring a Clinic Patient Registration Specialist. The role focuses on greeting and registering patients, verifying demographics and insurance, scheduling follow-ups, and supporting Revenue Cycle teams.

It is a casual position based at our Vadnais Heights campus with potential to float to other Summit locations. Responsibilities include handling co-pays, collecting necessary information, arranging interpreters when needed, and ensuring a smooth patient arrival and check-in

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of one year customer service experience in healthcare or medical office setting.
• Basic computer skills and speed are required.
• Medical reception or scheduling experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Register and schedule patients, verify insurance information and collect co-pays.
• Prepare next day patient charts and distribute mail and faxes.
• Coordinate with teams/providers to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Manage patient records and imaging CDs with proper authorization.
• Assist with rescheduling and maintain a neat patient lobby.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, teams and staff.
